Dr. Meghan Woods is a registered doctoral psychologist (SK #969), practicing in the area of Adult Clinical Psychology. Her current practice is focused on provision of and training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is a third wave cognitive behavioural therapy supported by scientific evidence to be useful in recovery from several psychological problems, including experiences with anxiety, depressed mood, interpersonal functioning, and overall behavioural change to assist with improved health and well being. Dr. Woods offers consultation in development of ACT skills for mental health clinicians and consultation for health professionals in integration of ACT into primary care.
Dr. Woods completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Regina. As part of her training, she completed her Pre-doctoral Residency in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Woods is registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists and is a member of the Saskatchewan Psychological Society. |
